With these words new Sisters and Brothers are admitted to the Brotherhood by means of the sword dubbing.
The admission ritual is one of the most important traditions of the Brotherhood. Brotherhood Master Adi Werner dubs new members with a 15.5 kg heavy sword from the 14th century, either in the private apartments of the Werner Family or in the Hospiz chapel, watched by member Brothers and Sisters. The new Brothers and Sisters may henceforth wear the emblem pin on their lapel.
