Together under the sign of the Brotherhood
St. Christoph has been the setting for the yearly Brotherhood weekend since 1934 ?, which is characterized by the honouring of longtime members and the traditional blessing of automobiles.
Sisters and Brothers receive awards for 15, 25, 35 and 50 year membership. The awards for 25, 35 and 50 year membership are personally presented during a festive gala evening in the Arlberg Hospiz Hotel.
Many visitors come every year for the automobile blessing. The State goverments of Tyrol and Vorarlberg have designated the day of the blessing (second Sunday in July) as a joint State celebration. The holy mass and the blessing are celebrated alternately by the Bishops of Innsbruck and Feldkirch.
