On 26 October 2007 Gerda Werner is awarded the great order of merit by Vorarlberg
„Born in Feldkirch, Gerda Werner has been active for many years in an honorary capacity for the St. Christoph Brotherhood. Her tireless efforts have made it possible to support many needy people outside the public social net, whereby often hidden need could be alleviated. Of the 16,500 members of the Brotherhood, about 1,400 come from Vorarlberg“ said Governor Herbert Sausgruber during the ceremony in the Montfort room of the Vorarlberg State House in Bregenz.
