A last wish – a sign of hope
In the midst of grief, a spark of light can emerge.
The person we are remembering wished
that people would be helped in his/her memory,
who have fallen on hard times through no fault of their own.
For almost 640 years, the Brotherhood of St. Christoph has stood for this lived charity –
founded by the orphan Heinrich Findelkind,
who himself experienced hardship and loneliness – and drew the strength from this to help others
.
Today, the brotherhood primarily supports families with many children,
who have been shaken by strokes of fate.
